It's October

Workout
I had such a delima today. I couldn't decide what to do for a workout, if I should even workout or just take a rest day. After debating going to the gym, riding my bike, or doing a bootcamp workout, I ended up doing a pilates fusion workout instead.

Pilates fusion is a core workout that focuses on the core, but works the whole body. It's a mix of ballet, strength training using your own body weight, pilates, and yoga. It's an amazing full body workout that works your muscles in a non traditional way. It's awesome for the abs and legs.

This guy just wouldn't leave me alone when I was working out. There is nothing worse then being hot and sweaty and this fury guy rubbing up against you constantly. Luckily it didn't last too long before he took a set in the corner and proceeded to just watch.
Dinner

Welcome to October, it's official the season of Autumn colors.

Dinner was so good and so simple tonight. I warmed up some leftover sweet potatoes and paired it will an egg white omelet. I can make a mean omelet. The secret is to first whisk the eggs in a bowl with some seasoning. Once you have that done add your eggs to a non stick pan and let it cook on a very low temperature. Let it cook until it's half way done and then fold in half. Let it cook a tad bit more, flip, cook a few more minutes and then it's done. You don't need to do any of that folding, fluffing, and all that jazz they say.
Dessert

I made a simple healthy fall crumble.
Mix together
2 diced apples and 1 pear with the skins on (for extra nutrients, simplicity, and texture)
mixed with
1 TB. sucanant (or another sugar)
dash of cinnamon
2 TB. water (for moisture, I forgot this part)

In a separate bowl mix
2 cups oats
1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 cup almond meal (which is just ground up almonds)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
dash salt and cinnamon
1 TB. coconut butter
3 TB. pear sauce
1 TB. sucanant or other sugar
drizzle of honey on top
mix together
crumble on top of fruit
bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.

Topped with some vanilla bean frozen yogurt, the only way to enjoy it. The crumble was the best part, but isn't it always.
