A waffle weekend

So let's back up this weekend and catch up on some important things, WAFFLES.

I just picked up a waffle maker last week and was waiting for this weekend to test it out. Saturday morning I used this whole wheat mix to make a waffle. I used the mix and added 1 egg white, organic non fat milk, cinnamon, and banana.


Topped with some drippy almond butter, more banana, raspberry all fruit spread, pure maple syrup, and unsweetened coconut.

On the side the best ever turkey breakfast sausage from the local health food store.

Today's waffles featured some Kodiak cake mix. I love Kodiak pancakes so I wanted to test it out as waffles. I added some blueberries to the mix.


Topped off with some warmed up pear sauce, almond butter, Bear Naked almond vanilla granola, more blueberries, raspberry all fruit spread, and unsweetened coconut. Along with leftover turkey breakfast sausage.

I actually like the first waffle mix better then the Kodiak. I think I'll save the Kodiak mix for pancakes and use the first one for waffles.
